Prerequisites

  • Pyramix v xxxxx installed and authorized

  • MassCore (RTX64 4.xxxxxxxx) installed and authorized

  • 2x MassCore NIC cards of the same generation ; either 2x NET-MSC-GBEX1 or 2x
    Using different MassCore NIC card models is not allowed.

  • Compatible Merging device(s) configured in ST2022-7 mode (e.g. Anubis SPS, Hapi MKII)


Card conversion

Procedure

  • Make sure your Merging device(s) is running in Multi Interface / ST2022-7 Mode (see Anubis SPS Settings or Hapi MkII Advanced page).
    Configure the device(s) IP addresses (the 2 networks should be in different IP ranges)
    A device reboot is required to activate the ST2022-7 mode and after any change to the IP addresses.
    Décrire procedure => passe en multiinterface - reboot - vérifier que pas 2 x 169.254 - mettre une adresse si nécessaire - reboot

  • Start the VS3 Control Panel in Administrator mode.
    The Primary Network adapter should be already filled in.

  • Add a Secondary Network adapter NIC and press Apply.

  • To easily differentiate the MassCore NIC cards, you may plug / unplug their network cables.
    The connection status will be reflected in the VS3 Control Panel a few seconds after plugging / unplugging the cable

  • Press OK to close the VS3 Control Panel.

  • Configure the MassCore NIC IP addresses in Windows, according to the addresses set in the device(s).

  • Start Pyramix / Ovation MassCore

  • You can now connect your MassCore and the device(s) in ST2022-7 mode.

Must have both network connected for MSC to start
