SetUp

Configuring the Merging Audio Device to to monitor and record audio between your DAW ASIO application and Windows WDM audio.

Prerequisites

The Merging Audio Device Driver installed and configured (as described in the MAD Installation page)
A Merging RAVENNA/AES67 device connected to your computer.

Procedure

  1. Go in the Merging Audio Device panel
    In the Channel Settings section, please make sure you have set enough Bridge channels depending on your sampling rate.
    In the WDM Settings section, set the required number of Outputs and use the Output maps to select Bridge channels.
    In this example, we will use Bridge channels 1-2 for stereo signal.


  2. Start your DAW, configured to run on the Merging Audio Device ASIO driver.
    In this example, we will use Pyramix.
    Simply set the MAD Bridge Channels as inputs (MAD Bridge 1-2 in our example)




You can now playback from your Windows audio applications (Youtube, Spotify,....) and monitor / record it in your DAW.
