ANEMAN 2 - Quick Connection Guide
Start the ANEMAN Agent
Start the ANEMAN Agent application.
The ANEMAN Agent is now available in your taskbar.
The Agent will look for an existing ANEMAN server on your network, and will start one if none can be found.
Your default browser will open the ANEMAN Webapp (Google Chrome recommended)
Important: the first time you start the Agent, Windows and MacOS will prompt you to allow ANEMAN on your network.
Please allow access on your networks.
Create a Zone
In the Devices View, click on the Folder icon on top
You can add device(s) in the zone by dragging them on the Zone. On the left side of the device(s), a colored line will appear matching the Zone color (default: Blue).
To configure the Zone, access the Zone Settings by clicking on the Zone Menu and Open Settings.
Master allows you set a specific device as the Sampling Rate and Frame Size master.
Sampling Rate let you choose if the Zone Master is the sampling rate master, or a specific sampling rate. All devices in the zone (including the Zone Master) will follow the sampling rate.
Frame Size let you choose if the Zone Master is the frame size master, or a specific frame size. All devices in the zone (including the Zone Master) will follow the frame size.
Note: Depending on the devices configuration, very low frame sizes like AES67(6) or (12) may cause drops in the connection.
Connect Devices
Select the required devices in the Devices or World view. This will populate the Matrix, allowing you to connect the required IOs on the selected devices.

Click on the required connection points to prepare the connection (connection points will turn green).
Then click on Connect Multicast / Connect Unicast (for unicast capable devices only) to establish the connection.
Remove a connection
Select the required devices in the Devices or World view. This will populate the Matrix, allowing you to disconnect the required IOs on the selected devices.

Then click on Remove Connection.
