MassCore NIC versions
With the launch of Pyramix 15 and Ovation 11, we introduced a 2nd generation MASSCORE Network Interface Card (NIC).
This new card functions like the previous model, however, please note that it is not compatible with earlier Pyramix MASSCORE versions.
The first generation card is compatible with all Pyramix - Ovation MASSCORE RAVENNA versions.

In most cases, this change will not cause any issues. However, we have noticed a few installations where new MASSCORE cards were used with older Pyramix or Ovation versions, resulting in MASSCORE not functioning properly.
If you are working on a project that requires MASSCORE with Pyramix 14.1, Ovation 11.1, or earlier, please contact your sales partner before placing your order.
All standard deliveries now include the 2nd Generation MASSCORE card by default.
