Ovation Time Code inputs and outputs
LTC1
The LTC1 input / output of Ovation is always the MassCore TimeCode.
To send/receive this MassCore TC into a physical output / from a physical input, you have to map the MassCore LTC in and out to a Merging RAVENNA device with ANEMAN or Easy Connect.
The LTC1 does not work in Native mode.
LTC2
The LTC 2 input / output of Ovation  is always the USB Sync Card (CON-USB-VTC) TimeCode.
No additional routing is required.
The LTC2 output does work in MassCore and Native mode, and requires the USB Sync card.
MTC
You must first associate a MIDI device to a virtual MIDI port.
You need to have a MIDI device installed in your computer (even if it is a Virtual MIDI device)
MTC Input :
Open Ovation settings and browse to Controller Units.
Select a MIDI device listed in the left pane.
On the right pane, MIDI port section, tick the Enable Box and assign a Virtual MIDI channel with the drop down menu. Â Tick the Enable box in the MIDI TimeCode (MTC) section.
You can now use this MTC Input as TimeCode source.
MTC Output
Open Ovation settings and browse to Player Units.
Select a MIDI device listed in the left pane.
On the right pane, tick the Enable Box and assign a Virtual MIDI channel with the drop down menu.
You can now use this MTC output as TimeCode output.
