MERGING+PLAYER Audio output level.
MERGING+PLAYER Audio output level.
Problem
When playing back from Roon in your MERGING+NADAC, the audio output level is not as loud as expected, for example when switching between quiet and loud audio. But when playing back from an external device (using the Optical or AES input), the output level is acting as expected.
Solution
The Roon Headroom (level) Management is activated, which can lower the signal level.
- Set your NADAC volume to -20 dB.
- Click on your Zone in Roon Transport section, then click on the bullet icon on the right side of your Zone and select DSP Engine.
- In the DSP Engine window, select the Headroom Management process in the left column, then set it to Disabled
- Your NADAC output level is now acting as expected.
