When starting Horus ,Hapi or Anubis, it gets stuck on the "Loading config" step or crashes at the end of the boot.
Solution
The actual configuration might be corrupted or not compatible with the firmware if you did a firmware upgrade.
The configuration needs to be reset to Ex-factory.

HORUS - HAPI Ex-factory update reset - Shutdown your Horus / Hapi by pressing and holding the triangle power button.
- Press the power button while also pressing and holding the small triangle button to start in Maintenance Mode.

- Once the maintenance mode is ready, please update your device through your web browser with this special firmware :
For Horus For Hapi Note : the update with this special firmware will only take a few seconds. - Once done, reboot your device.
HAPI MKII Ex-factory update reset - Shutdown your Hapi by pressing and holding the triangle power button.
- Press and hold the rotary controller on the front panel button, and press on the triangle button to start the unit in Maintenance Mode.

For Hapi MKII Note : the update with this special firmware will only take a few seconds. - Once done, reboot your device.
Hapi - Try to empty the capacitors - Unplug the DC power cable at the back of the unit (yes disconnect all power cables)
- Hold Press the Pyramid button for 2 sec, it could flash blue for an instant (as it empties the capacitors)
- Reconnect the DC power cable
Try to power up the Unit.
ANUBIS Ex-factory update reset

As of Firmware 1.4.0 - Run a Firmware version 1.4.0 and above
- Shutdown the ANUBIS
- Hold Press 2 buttons: The Anubis MUTE button and TALK Button Simultaneously
- Power up the Anubis while holding those two buttons pressed until Anubis powers up completely
This will have reset the Anubis to Ex-Factory while keeping your Mission Presets or Snapshots |
Legacy: With firmware 1.2.6 and prior - Open the Anubis Maintenance Page (Gooogle Chrome recommended)
- Download and update the file below as if it was a firmware update.
Anubis factory Reset update: https://betadownload.merging.com/ExternalLinks/Anubis/FactoryReset/ResetConfigToFactory.Anubis
- Once updated, reboot Anubis
