Prerequisites
Pyramix v15.0 (or above) installed and authorized
MassCore engine (RTX64 4.4.0 or above) installed and authorized.
2x MassCore NIC cards of the same generation installed and running in your computer; either 2x NET-MSC-GBEX1 or 2x
Using different MassCore NIC card models is not allowed.Compatible Merging device(s) configured in ST2022-7 mode (e.g. Anubis SPS, Hapi MKII), connected to the MassCore NICs
Procedure
Make sure your Merging device(s) is running in Multi Interface / ST2022-7 Mode (see Anubis SPS Settings or Hapi MkII/MKIII Setup - Network).
Configure the device(s) IP addresses (the 2 networks should be in different IP ranges) on the device.
Note: a device reboot is required to activate the ST2022-7 mode and after any change to the IP addresses.Start the VS3 Control Panel in Administrator mode.
The Primary Network adapter should be already filled in.Add a Secondary Network adapter NIC and press Apply.
A secondary Ravenna icon will show up.
If both networks cable are plugged, both icons should show active.
If both networks are not connected, MassCore will not start.Configure the device(s) IP addresses (the 2 networks should be in different IP ranges) on the computer.
Go in Windows Control Panel - Network and Sharing Center - Change adapter Settings.
Set an IP address on the Merging Technologies Primary Ethernet Controller and Merging Technologies Secondary Ethernet Controller.Press OK to close the VS3 Control Panel.
Start Pyramix / Ovation MassCore
You can now run MassCore and the device(s) in ST2022-7 mode.
To easily identify the MassCore NIC cards, you may plug / unplug their network cables.
The connection status will be reflected in the VS3 Control Panel a few seconds after plugging / unplugging the cable
