For ease of use during Windows installation, Merging recommends that you install security dongles, NET-MSC GBEX1, MT-USBSync board and Pyramix-Ovation keyboard after the Windows Installation.
This motherboard is only compatible with Windows 10, and 8th generation Intel CPUs.
MassCore users : Pyramix 11.x/ Ovation 6.x or above required (RTX64 3.x).
Intel Optane : Optane has been validated in Optane Memory mode only, not in Drive cache mode.
Please only install the Intel Optane Memory driver, and not the Intel Optane driver.
Merging highly recommends you "defer feature updates" in Windows 10.

1.8 Saving your BIOS/UEFI settings

After a BIOS update, those settings might be lost or incompatible with the updated BIOS version.

Install the drivers ONLY, do not install the utilities it can cause much trouble.

Do not install the AppCharger, ASRock 3TB+ Unlocker Utility, ASRock A-Tuning utility, App Shop!
Intel Optane has not been tested yet, do not install it.
For MassCore users : do not install Intel® Advanced Network Services included in Intel® LAN driver, it may slow down the whole system.
Norton Security is not mandatory at all, you may use another antivirus software, correctly configured.
Restart to UEFI is designed to be used when you are utilizing the fast or ultra fast boot options in your UEFI. This causes the system to post so quickly that you do not have time to press a key to enter the UEFI. The app, when used will restart the PC directly into the UEFI without you needing to press anything.
If you have installed a PCIe graphic card, you should now install its driver.

4.SOFTWARE INSTALLATION
4.1 INSTALL PYRAMIX / OVATION / VCUBE
After the installation plug Security dongles, NET-MSC-GBEX1 and other Merging hardware.
(not the Ovation-Pyramix Keyboard!)

The NET-MSC-GBEX1 card can be fitted in PCIe1x.
RTX64 dongle (SSK-HUD-RTX) users :
-Version prior to RTX64 V3 : the user must install the specific HASP HL drive before installing MassCore.

4.1.1 Authorization Keys
Insert the authorization keys in MT Security Settings.
MassCore users can go now in MT Security MassCore tab and click on Install MassCore Runtime.
Restart the computer after MassCore installation.
Windows must be activated to be able to install MassCore.
