SurCode Dolby E Decoder and Encoder VST

SurCode Dolby E Decoder and Encoder VST

Surcode Dolby E VSTs are legacy (only 32 bit) and cannot be used on Pyramix 64 bit versions.

The minimum required VST Buffer size is 2048 samples for those 2 DolbyE plugins.
Smaller buffer size can lead to drops, clicks and gaps in the encoded file or decoded output.

In MassCore mode:

  • Go in Pyramix settings > Hardware > MassCore
  • On the right pane, set the VST Plugins Engine > VST buffer size to 2048 smpl.

In Native mode:

  • The VST buffer size is the same as your ASIO interface buffer.
Go in your ASIO interface control panel and set its buffer to 2048 samples.
  • Depending on your interface, you may need to restart Pyramix.
